It’s November, so traditionally it is the time to roast chestnuts, WEAS follows this tradition. So on the second friday of November 2018, WEAS celebrated the traditonal Magusto, with chestnuts, barbeque and a lot of fun.
Partnership with SEAC
The long-standing partnership between WEAS Unipessoal, Lda. and SEAC Banche,suffered some changes in 2018. Seac suffered some setbacks, but it the business relationship between SEAC and WEAS will continue.
WEAS, increased it’s standing, becoming the exclusive producer and supplier of the SEAC products. WEAS is also the exclusive distributor of Orion machines in the Iberian Peninsula.
We believe that 2018 and 2019 will consoludate WEAS in this market.
Partnership with Arquiled
WEAS Unipessoal, Lda. has entered a new stage in it’s business life.
Arquiled, company specializing in public LED lighting, selected WEAS as their partner in the production of their new product as of September 2018.
WEAS was chosen for it’s qualified and vastly exprienced team in assembly, cabling and electronics.
WEAS – 2nd Anniversary
Weas Unipessoal, Lda. second anniversary was the validation of a very busy year.
As has become tradition, WEAS, celebrates it’s business milestones with donations to charitable organizations, this year was no differente. The chosen organizations is the Centro da Nossa Senhora dos Milagres das Cáritas de Cernache, were food and hygiene provisions that had been donated by the company and it’s employee’s were handed over. Following a visit to the instalations of the Cáritas de Cernache, there was an luncheon, that gathered the various employees in an informal environment, allowing for lively conversation and fun day.
TUV confirms the ISO 14001:2015 Certification process by WEAS
WEAS received in May of 2018 confirmation that TÜV – Rheinland has accepteed it’s request for the ISO 14001:2015 Certification process.
Visit by the Portuguese Minister of Foreign Affairs
Augusto Santos Silva (Portuguese Minister of Foreign Affairs) and Eurico Brilhante Dias (Secretary of State de Internalization) visited the WEAS stand on the 29th of March 2018 at the Midest trade-fair, they stopped and talked a little with the WEAS CEO Alípio Teixeira.
Midest 2018
2018 starts with one of the biggest industrial tradefairs in the world. Midest in Paris is “The world’s largest industrial subcontracting network” and we will be there.
Midest trade fair will run from the 27 to the 30th of March in Paris at the Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center which links a group of people fascinated and focused on the best that is happening in the industrial world.
Presentation of WEAS 2017 Results
On the 7th of March 2018 presented it’s consolidation results for 2017, the presentation was followed by a small mixer with the company employees.
Women’s day
On the 8th of March 2018 there was a brief celebration at the WEAS headquarters, where a red rose was given to each woman who works at WEAS to simbolize Woman’s Day.
Christmas Dinner 2017
For the second consecutive year, WEAS invited the whole Team for the traditional Christmas Dinner on the 9th of December 2017.
It was a very cheerful event, where good mood and fun were the words of the day and where the Team had the opportunity to socialize in a different environment.
